On Sunday October 30, from 2-5pm, bring the kiddies down to the pub for an afternoon of pumpkin carving, Halloween activities and snacks. Libations for parents will also be available.

From September 26 to October 10, The Iron Duke and Steamwhistle are celebrating Oktoberfest with beer & meat! One litre steins of Steamwhitsle will be on sale for $15, and you can keep the stein. Also, we will be featuring a German inspired fondue with house made apple-caraway bratwurst, pumpernickle, pickles, vegetables and Steamwhistle-Muster cheese dipping sauce for $12.
We are takin’ it to the street as part of the second annual Princess St. Promenade festival. Princess & Wellington Streets will be closed to vehicles to promote active transportation such as walking and cycling. Dozens of downtown businesses will be participating with sidewalk sales, kiosks, live music and more. We will be extending our patio into Wellington St. from 11-6, providing cold drinks and food for downtown revellers.
The Duke is now open at 11am on Saturdays & Sundays, and we are serving brunch until 3pm. We’re making Eggs Benny, Frittatas & Crepes, and everything is made fresh and in-house. We’ve also got our spicy, 2oz Old Nosey caesars, the perfect brunch pick-me-up! Visit the menus page for more details.
